The Castle Paws and Taws is an American Western Square Dance club, dancing about an hour North West of Pittsburgh.

We dance a mixture of SSD, Mainstream and Plus every dance depending on the level of dancers attending that dance. We will have Cuers for Rounds (Phase II,III) almost all dances. You may wear traditional Square Dance attire or nice casual apparel.

$7 per person (students $2 and family rates are available)

New Dancers can come to any of our dances to find out what Square Dancing is all about. Please let us know if you are interested in the lessons so we can plan on the number of New Dancers coming. Call/Text 724-971-8923 to let us know if you are coming.

Using map links for navigation? Your experience may vary, but...

  • Using the Google map link will load it in your web browser and present you with a "Start" button that doesn't actually work. To get one that works, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner. In that menu, tap "Open in app." If you already have the app on your phone, it will load and present you with a "start" button that actually works.
  • Using the What3Words link, their map will load in your browser. Tap the "Navigate" button and choose the Waze option. The Waze map will load, again, in your browser. Tap the "Open in Waze" button at the bottom to load the map in the app (if Waze is installed on your device).
